At the 16th International Ceramics Congress in Perugia, Italy, Academician Fu Zhengyi of Wuhan University of Technology delivered a plenary lecture and was elected Chair of the Steering Committee of the World Academy of Ceramics, having earlier been elected President of the International Ceramic Federation.
