Prof. Qunfeng Cheng is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China. He received his PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Zhejiang University in 2008, followed by postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University and Florida State University. From 2010 he successively served as lecturer, associate professor, researcher, and professor in the Department of Chemistry at Beihang University, and joined USTC as a professor in November 2024. He has long worked on bio-inspired nanocomposite materials, publishing papers as corresponding author in Nature, Science, and Nature Materials, and achieving breakthroughs in the scalable preparation of strong and tough MXene films and other nanocomposites.
