Guanbin Gao is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Wuhan University of Technology, recognized as a National High-Level Young Talent and Hubei Provincial High-Level Young Talent. He serves as a researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing and Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Nanomedicine for Neurodegenerative Diseases. His research focuses on nanobiomedical materials, particularly chiral nanomaterials for neurodegenerative disease diagnosis and treatment. He has led 12 research projects, including national and provincial funds, and published over 50 SCI papers as first/corresponding author in prestigious journals like J. Am. Chem. Soc. and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. He holds 7 Chinese patents and 1 Australian patent, and serves as an academic editor for Interdisciplinary Materials and youth editorial board member for several journals.
