Prof. Fei Long is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. He received his PhD in Materials Science from Wuhan University of Technology in 2009, and has served as a professor at Guilin University of Technology since 2012. His research focuses on compound semiconductor thin-film materials and devices, and the development and industrialization of fine calcium carbonate, including ultra-fine activated calcium carbonate, photofunctional calcium carbonate, and bio-calcium carbonate. He has been named a Distinguished Expert of Guangxi, leads a Guangxi Natural Science Fund innovative research team, and has published over 150 SCI papers, holding 12 granted invention patents among 29 applications.
